By shopping with us, it is deemed that you have acknowledged, understood and agreed to the below terms.

1. General

1.1 Our working days are Mondays to Fridays (10am-6pm), excluding weekends and public holidays

1.2 All emails will be replied within 48 working hours. Please refrain from sending multiple emails within 2 working days

1.3 The Dancing Jewels reserves to right to amend the Terms and Conditions without prior notice.

2 Purchase and delivery


2.1 Do ensure that the correct and complete address has been provided during checkouts to avoid delays or lost mails.

2.2 Any redelivery of the parcels for corrected address will be borne by the customers

2.3 Instock orders will be shipped out within 3 working days


2.4 For application of discount codes, please enter them upon checkout. No refunds will be made for orders where discount codes are not entered at the time of purchase.

2.5 All orders are final and we will not be able to refund or exchange for wrong items purchased.

3. Payment

We accept the below modes of payment

  • Ibanking (Payment within 2 hours or orders will be automatically cancelled)
  • Paypal
  • Credit cards.

4. Backorder items 


4.1 Each backorder may a different duration and the estimated time is reflect on each individual order.

4.2 There may be delays on the backorders due to unforeseen circumstances e.g if the supplier runs out of stock, we will source for alternative sources as our priority is your satisfaction.

4.3 For delayed/ cancelled backorders, a store credit will be issued accordingly. There is strictly no cash refunds. Do join the backorders only if you are alright with this.

4.4 Orders are shipped out according to order numbers. No combination of orders are allowed.

4.5 For orders consisting of instocks and backorders, the order will only be sent out once backorders have arrived.

5. Shipping (Singapore normal, registered, Self collection and international mail)


5.1 For orders consisting of instocks and backorders, please refer to point 4.5 above.

5.2 All mails are handled by Singpost unless otherwise stated

5.3 Please note that The Dancing Jewels will not be liable for any lost of damaged parcels for normal postage. It is advised to opt for mailing options with tracking number.

5.4 The Dancing Jewels ships internationally of which mails are usually handled by Singpost partners.

5.5 For orders comprising of instocks and backorders, the entire order will only be sent out when all the items are ready for shipping.

Do place separate orders for instocks if you wish to receive them first.

Singapore delivery options

A Normal Mail ( Without Tracking Number)

There is no tracking number for normal mail and TDJ will not be liable for any lost packages as the item cannot be tracked as much as we would love to help you. We strongly recommend the Smartpac or Standard Courier option.

B. Singpost Smartpac (With Tracking Number)

Singpost takes up to 3 working days (Excludes Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays)

Items via Smartpac will be delivered to the letterbox if nobody receives it when the Postman delivers to the door step. If Singpost is not able to fit the package into the letter box (E.g They do not have access to the back of the letter box for certain Condos), they will leave a collection slip to collect the package at the stated post office within 10 working days before the package gets returned to us.

The SM Tracking number will only reflect status when package is about to be delivered (likely on the same day)/ has already been delivered.

Roadbull takes up to 3 working days (Excludes Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays)

D. Express courier: (With/Without Tracking number)

A top up of $3 from the usual standard courier method is required.

*Express courier is only available for booking on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (excluding public holidays) and that it is not a festive period ( E.g Christmas and Chinese New year period).

Payment has to be received by 2PM for item to be delivered on the next working day subjected to above condition*

Example 1:

If payment is made by Monday 10am, Express courier can be arranged on Monday and item can be delivered on Tuesday (Earliest)

Example 2

If payment is made on Tuesday, express courier can only be arranged on Wednesday and item can be delivered by Thursday (Earliest)

How Do I Get My Tracking Number?

Your tracking number is updated in My account > Order history and details.

Click on the Details tab at the right side of the order and scroll down to see the Tracking Number updated.

F. International Delivery

Malaysia: Flat rate of 5 SGD

Rest of Asia: From 8 SGD. Rates will be calculated according to the weight by the system.

Rest of the World:  From 15 SGD. Rates will be calculated according to the weight by the system.

Malaysia: 1-3 working days upon dispatch. 

Others: 10-14 working days upon dispatch.

6. Exchanges/Refunds

6.0 Please note that our refund policy is only in terms of credits.

6.1 Exchanges are only applicable for regular priced items except for Backorder items (as they have been ordered in specially for you), Floats and Lingerie for the following reasons:

i. An incorrect item

ii. A defective item

Requests for exchanges other than the above reasons will not be entertained.

[EXCEPTIONS] Exchanges are allowed for regular priced Swimwear ( except for Backorder items as they have been ordered in specially for you) as we understand the challengers of shopping for swimwear online.

6.2 Postage charges to and fro will be borne by the customers. Postage fees incurred for exchanges would be the actual fee that Singpost/courier charge without any subsidies from the store.

6.3 If credits have been issued, it will be valid for one month only, excludes postage fees and can only be used to offset one order. There is strictly no extension of validity period and all unutilised credits will be forfeited. A one month credit for instocks and sales items will be issued for the return items. Do email us the items you wish to offset against so it can be processed manually as such an arrangement is not available in the system.

6.4 All exchanges and returns have to be submitted to connect@thedancingjewels.com titled [Exchange Request] Order number XXX (alphabetics) with snapshots of the defects within 5 working days from date of posting. Items have to be mailed out within 5 working days after an email has been sent on the return/exchange procedure. Exchange requests sent in via other methods e.g wrong email/ facebook/instagram will not be entertained.

6.5 Requests for exchanges and returns thereafter will not be entertained.
6.6 Please kindly ensure that the parcel is returned in its original condition, unworn and unwashed with the tags intact. Hygiene label for swimwear has to be intact in order to qualify for the exchange.
6.7 The Dancing Jewels reserves the right to reject any exchanges if the above point is not fulfilled.
6.8 Each qualified order is only entitled to a one-time exchange.
6.9 The Dancing Jewels reserves to right to reject any exchanges that has not been confirmed by us. Any shipping cost incurred to return the package will be borne by the customer.
6.10 All exchanges are assessed on a case-by-case basis and we reserve the right to exercise discretion in permitting or rejecting all requests for exchanges.

6.11 Orders with promotional codes entered are not allowed for exchanges.

7. Defects/ Incorrect items sent

7.1 The Dancing Jewels checks all orders before sending. In the event a defective/wrong item has been sent, we sincerely apologise.

7.2 Please drop us an email at connect@thedancingjewels.com within 5 working days with a snap shot of the item/ area of defect.

7.3 The Dancing Jewels will send a replacement piece of the item if there is an available piece. There is strictly no refunds if a replacement piece is available.

7.4  In the event that the item is no longer available, refunds in terms of store credits will be issued.

7.5 Postage charges incurred will be refunded via store credits. 

7.6 Returns for defect/incorrect items follow the above points from 6.4-6.7

7.7 Please only send back the item once a confirmation has been given from our team. The Dancing Jewels reserves to right to reject any order that has not been confirmed by us. Any shipping cost incurred to return the package will be borne by the customer.
7.8 For items that has been sent back to us but does not have the defect mentioned, postage fee for the return of item will be chargeable. If no top up was done for the postage fee, item will be disposed after 14 days.
7.9 Store credits earned from "refunds" due to defects/incorrect items sent does not have an expiry date.
8. Item specifications

8.1 Please allow a difference of  0.5"-1" in measurements as items are mass produced. In such cases, it will not be considered a defect and no exchanges will be carried out.
8.2. UK sizings are only provided for refence. For accuracy of items, do refer to measurements stated in store.
8.3 There may be discrepancies cases due to colour calibration of individual's computer or it might appear slightly darker in reality due to strong studio lighting used. It will not be considered as a defect.  Requests for exchange/ return due to such reason may be rejected.
8.4  For designs which features a light colour base, there may be slight imperfections in the colour which are not obvious. As this does not change the overall appearance of the item, it will not be considered a defect.
8.5 For backorder of shoes, the measurements follow Charles and Keith sizing. In the event the sizing does not fit, store credits may be issued. Points per point 6 applies.
